We operate an exhaustive process of in-house and third party testing to ensure continuous compliance with the EN124:1994 in a foundry which is certified to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Saxon Covers Ltd also supply across the Middle East and North Africa the EXCALIBUR range of Aluminium and Stainless Steel access covers. These covers are used in a wide range of applications such as water treatment plants, pump stations, roof hatches, smoke vents etc. Products are available in both galvanised steel, aluminium alloys, and Stainless Steel gr. 316. Our access covers offer a wide variety of options, such as flush and upstand models, different load classes, multiple locking options and different sealing arrangements. All covers and frames are made to order, allowing our customers to exactly specify the form of access cover they require, right down to the RAL colour of the external powder coating.

Our products are load tested batch by batch to ensure that the loading requirements of EN 124:1994 are passed, with safety factors far in excess of general industry standards. Saxon prides itself on a reputation as a manufacturer of the highest quality products, and this reputation is closely guarded by the use of stringent in-house and third party testing.
Our Ductile Iron foundry is further individually certified to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and many of our products bear the BSI kitemark.
